McAllen ISD is on iTunesU!
That makes McAllen ISD one of the first school districts in the country to post curriculum on this electronic format that, until now, has always been reserved strictly for universities. One of the first series that has been posted is an award-winning conversational Spanish TV series that features McAllen ISD students, ?Platiquemos? Stories on KGBT Channel 4, KVEO Channel 23, McAllen Cable Network, The Monitor.

Dress Code Policy

New Policy FNCA Dress Code
Attendance
Classes begin at 7:50 a.m. All children must be in the classroom when the bell rings at 7:50 a.m., signifying instruction has begun. For academic success, it is very important that students attend school each day. Students can't learn if they are not at school.
Parents/guardians will be receiving a phone call if their child has not arrived at school by 8:15 a.m. Our goal is to help every child achieve success, and the first step to doing that is for them to be at school everyday.

Ben Milam has been an authorized IB World School since February, 2009. Milam offers the Primary Years Programme to all students. This programme is a transdisciplinary programme of international education designed to foster the development of the whole child. For more information go to www.ibo.org.
