September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Every Wednesday in September, Ben Milam Elementary will shine a little brighter as students and staff wear gold in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Gold represents the strength, courage, and hope of children and families affected by childhood cancer. By wearing gold, our Mustangs can help raise awareness and show that no family faces a difficult journey alone.

We invite every Mustang to wear gold each Wednesday in September. A gold shirt, ribbon, bow, or small accessory can become part of one powerful message:

Together, we shine with hope and courage!
